A pregnancy announcement photoshoot on South Congress in Austin, Texas, turned out to be a day full of excitement, anticipation, and a little bit of a lesson learned. The session started with a walk around SoCo, proudly showing off the sonogram while taking in and capturing the vibrant charm and eclectic vibe the area has to offer. From colorful murals to quirky shops, every corner provided a perfect backdrop to highlight this joyous occasion.

After exploring the bustling streets and snapping plenty of pictures, we ended the session with a serene picnic. It was the perfect way to celebrate the impending arrival of a new life and relax amidst the lively atmosphere of South Congress.

However, the day wasn’t without its hiccups. It was an incredibly hot day, and to keep cool, I had my car’s A/C cranked up to high. Unfortunately, this caused my camera lenses to fog up for the entire session. It’s one of those lessons learned the hard way, and it’s a mistake I’ll ensure never happens again.

Despite the fogged lenses, we managed to salvage some wonderful photos that captured the love and joy of the moment. These pictures, though a bit different from the usual clarity, still tell the beautiful story of a couple eagerly awaiting their newest addition.
